All of our cabins come with a minimum of R13 insulation for energy conservation. SteelMaster’s metal Quonset hut home kits are made of at least 80 percent recycled steel. We use Galvalume® Steel to fabricate our buildings which is Energy Star® approved and can reduce utility costs. There are many features and accessories that enhance their Green appeal. A.Skylights and windows can be installed in the sides of the Arched Cabin with some custom fabrication required by your contractor. If you do want to install a larger window, door, or design a bump-out on the arched walls, the structural steel will need to be heavily reinforced to ensure the structure remains sound. We recommend working with our engineering team to make sure the cabin remains structurally sound if you plan on doing this.
